The heavy duty sack, also called F.F.S. (Form, Fill, Seal), is a gusseted or flat tubular film of reduced dimensions aimed at the production of industrial sacks. The research of new formulations and the adoption of innovative resins allow the production of an industrial sack, which is characterised by a high resistance to perforation and an excellent ntegrity of sealing combined with the possibility of a downgauging. The use of the most advanced productive technologies is combined with both the automatic control of thicknesses and the management of the whole production system. Furthermore, the used co-extrusion process allows not only the production of coloured films, but also the production of materials presenting layers that have a range of different properties. Superior sealing performance and the hot tack of the internal layer perfectly combine with the mechanical resistance of the central layer and the shine of the external layer. Thanks to the possibility of applying different anti-slip surface treatments, the overlapping of sacks is perfect and the pallets are more stable.
