POGGIO® inspection machines are equipments for the visual control of filled bottles to detect the presence of foreign particles, impurities and leakages from the corks. Every bottle is positioned in correspondence of the gripper seizing it by the neck and overturning it. The machine is manufactured in such a way that any contact with the elements that could damage drawings or captions on the glass are avoided. The bottles pass in front of the light screen facilitating the operator observing the content of the bottle and discarding the defective ones by pressing a button.
The actual elimination of the bottles happens after the discharge starwheel by means of an electro-pneumatic device conveying the bottle to be discarded on an accumulation board or a conveyor belt
