Pollard Pumps stands out in the nuclear industry since the creation of the first nuclear power plants in France in the middle of the 1960s.
The Pollard pumps are installed at the electricity production plants to transfer lubricating oil in the power transmissions, and the diesel oil in the safety eclectic generators.
The Emergency Diesel Generator coolant (ultimate emergency diesel) can be also transferred during the filling of the expansion tank of the diesel engine.
Some pumps and equipment supplied by Pollard are “security” classified and therefore are submitted to the design, manufacturing, controls and audit protocols. These processes are directly monitored by the inspectors from the electricity production plants. All this information is included into the final manufacturing report delivered to the client.
Indeed, all the Pollard staff is trained in nuclear industry constraints and works in close partnership with the client to provide a high level of quality, traceability and security, according to the requirements.
For many decades Pollard has been proving its know-how and its reliability in the sector where the security is of the essence. Today the French and international nuclear industries trust us.
