Polymer Char's reliable and automated High Temperature GPC/SEC solution, is the unique fully-system dedicated to the Molar Mass Distribution analysis for Polyolefin Characterization, incorporating the well-known Infrared detector IR4 and/or IR5 MCT (integrated versions available) for the Composition of copolymers, beyond Concentration, Viscometer and optional Light Scattering detector.
GPC-IR was designed based on the features demanded by the Polyolefin Size Exclusion Chromatography users during the last years:
* Separate column oven compartment for better column protection.
* Triple Detector (Concentration, Four Capillary Viscometer and Light Scattering) + Composition Detector especially for Polyolefins (IR4), with excellent baseline stability.
* Possibility of integrating into the system IR5 MCT for measurement of low branching content in HDPE resins.
* Automated in-line filtration with blackflush cleaning integrated.
* Fully automated sample preparation of up to 70 vials of 10 mL, including the initial filling.
* Multiple injections from the same vial without sample dilution for highest possible reproducibility.
* No manual solvent handling and no vials transfer throughout the whole process.
* Samples stay in heated oven with shaking for just the required dissolution time.
* Comprehensive data processing software GPC One integrating all detectors' signals.
