Metal- (porous), resin- and/or electroplated bonded grinding wheels with a superabrasive diamond layer used to work tungsten carbide and other materials. Cubic boron nitride (CBN) is used to grind treated or alloyed steels (mainly those between 50 and 70 HRC).
