The ZN diathermic oil circulating pumps are used to circulate diathermic liquids at temperatures of up to 350 degrees Celsius. The pumped liquids should be free of corrosive chemicals or abrasive particles to prevent damage to the pump materials. There is no need for cooling of the seal chamber on these pumps. The ZN series are centrifugal, single stage, horizontal shaft pumps. They have a self-balancing impeller (the balance is achieved through the rear end impeller blades).The dimensions of the pump are in accordance to ISO 2858 standards. The bearing housing is constructed so as to disperse heat efficiently, from the pump casing, with out an additional cooling circuit. The shaft lies on two roller bearings, of which the one on the pump side bearing is lubricated by oil. The coupling-side bearing requires grease. The mechanical seal is located between the bearings in the bearing housing. Its high performance is due to the shaft rigidity. The standard setup includes the outlet flanges in accordance with UNI 2223/2229 NP 16 standard, with optional UNI NP 25 or ANSI 150 RF flanges. The shaft is of alloy steel while the impeller and bearing housing are constructed of cast iron. The wet parts are all of nodular cast iron. The standard dimensions of most parts allows high interchangeability and lowers maintenance costs. These pumps have a maximum capacity of 350 cubic meters per hour with a maximum head of 100 m. The maximum liquid temperature is 350 degrees Celsius and the maximum pressure in the pump is 16 bar. The shaft rotates at 3600 rpm, with flanges to DN 32- 125.
