Preventive and immediate detection for any type of pumps such as centrifugal, with eccentric rotor, with lobe, submerged, gear driven, etc.,
during off-load or under overpressure operation.
With the VIP measuring method, the DLM20 fault detector protects against mechanical breakage in case
of dry operation, flow rate abnormally low, pressure abnormally high caused by: empty tank, inadvertently closed valve, unpriming, poor NPSH, cavitation, strainer, filter, wheel clogging, ... caking, frost, wear or breakage, binding or mechanical harshness...
The detector uses the electric motor as a probe to continuously calculate, by means of the patented VIP algorithm, the effective power transmitted to the motor shaft (pump resistive torque or, in other words, the precise consequence of its current flow rate and pressure).
The DLM20 detector is a clear improvement on level detectors, temperature detectors, pressure switches, probes and all sensors, even electronic, in contact or not with the pumped liquid.
