The FT8 POWERPAC industrial gas turbine package is a power generation unit that utilizes the SWIFTPAC modular design concept of very efficient electrical power. The FT8 is a derivative of the JT8D, one of the most successful flight engines in aviation history.
The gas turbine, mounted on a steel base, is packaged with its ancillary support systems and directly drives the generator package.
