The Preso ThermoTrack is a non-invasive ultrasonic flow meter combined with non-invasive temperature sensors manufacturers, to measure energy use in water-based HVAC systems. No sensors come in contact with the liquid and there are no moving parts, so downtime and maintenance are eliminated. The flow meter utilizes transit time ultrasonic technology and the temperature sensors are Pt1000 RTDs. The flow rate, supply line temperature and return line temperature measurements provide the necessary inputs to calculate energy use, displayed in BTUs, Calories or Watts. The ThermoTrack is available for pipe sizes 1/2" (12 mm) and larger, with a variety of power source and output options available.
