The MEGAPLUS family provides outstanding image detail with up to 16 megapixels of resolution and maximum frame rates of 30 frames-per-second. The core of the system is a powerful FPGA-based camera controller. The MEGAPLUS controller provides real time intelligence for each camera head such as: pixel defect mapping, flat field correction, gamma control, color space conversion, bit windowing, and more, with a high speed digitized data stream from imaging heads, which minimize heat, noise, and vibration. Typically used in machine vision, medical imaging, and remote sensing, MEGAPLUS cameras come in several different designs, including:
