IO Module for UMX
UIO Interconnection Board
The UIO connection board is used with the UMX motion controller and is a
compact alternative to the screw-terminal board (IO68). The UIO provides an
individual 15-pin D-sub connector for each axis as well as one 15-pin D-sub
connector for the general purpose I/O. The connections from the UMX controller
are connected to the UIO through a short ribbon cable as shown.
Power is supplied to the UIO through the ribbon cable from the UMX, however
an optional power connector is available on the UIO. With the UIO mounted
on the UMX the total package measures 3.54"x3.28"x1.45".
