proALPHA Fixed Asset Management is not only a convenient tool for MRP and the management of fixed assets, it is also an invaluable aid for making investment decisions. User-defined valuation criteria allow differentiated perspectives and methods of calculation. All recognized depreciation methods are supported. Imputed depreciation can also be calculated for management accounting purposes on the basis of replacement costs. Different amounts of depreciation can be used for Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting, and imputed interest can be calculated on a user-defined basis and allocated to the appropriate cost center.

Integrated workflow functions ensure that all activities, for example fixed asset acquisitions, can be processed easily. The relevant information entered in Financial Accounting is simply transferred for use in Fixed Asset Management.

Replacement costs can be calculated using various adjustable indices and used by insurance companies as the basis for the determination of insurance premiums. There is also a budgeted fixed asset feature, a useful tool for investment planning and budgeting. A simulation feature allows you to select alternative parameters for the calculation of budget value development, and fixed asset analyses can be designed and created in any number of variations.
