The SMX-2 module is designed to drive pulse motors in conjunction with external drive stages.
Up to 10 axes can be driven simultaneously using modules combined in a SYSTEM-90E. This includes the possibility of mixing various types of axes. Each axis can be traversed or positioned in any way desired, either individually or coordinated with other axes.
Either position control modules, motion control modules or even stepper motor professional indexers can be used: the programming techniques are identical.
