During the transformer assembly and after the winding drying phase, it’s sometimes necessary to adjust the height of the winding. VTR lifting bags are inserted between the winding levels and inflated to slowly raise the winding so that spacers can be inserted or removed. This system for windings adjustment is an alternative to the conventional hammer and PTFE stick that may cause damage to the winding.
