Within the mains supply network the CGP or "House connection
boxes", are used to situate the elements for the protection against
overload and short-circuit in distribution lines, and find their application
at the beginning of the user installations.
The CGP's contain 1 pole Low Voltage fuse switches NHC with breaking
capacity. They also provide all the benefits over conventional fuse
rails such as:
Greater protection against accidental contact (IP 20 with closed
fuse holder)
Easier insertion and extraction of fuses - no need for auxiliary
tools
Possibility of fitting a Blown Fuse Indicator light
Access holes for easy and more accurate measurement of voltage
Incoming / Outgoing connections can be fixed to stainless steel
screws and/or bimetallic clamps
Facility of connecting auxiliary protected fuse sizes 1 and 2
Great range of fuses (Size NH00, NH1 and NH2)
Rated operational amperage comprises currents between 40 and
400 A depending on model
Fulfills the IEC 60947 Norm
The fibreglass reinforced polyester panels are self extinguishing and
resistant to chemical agents and corrosion.
Rated operational voltage is 500 V.
The neutral link is situated to the left of the fuse switches and can be
supplied fixed or removable (dependent on clients needs). It can also
provide capacity for connection to earth - should this be required by
clients or utilities.
