Accelerating the integration and deployment of high-performance embedded PCs for a wide range of industrial applications, Protech Systems Co., Ltd., the leading provider of industrial computers, recently launched the EPC-5500 and EPC-5510 modular IPCs featuring support for socket 478 Intel® Pentium® M/Celeron® M Ultra Low Voltage processors with 400 MHz Front Side Bus and up to 2 GB of system memory using DDR333 MHz DIMMs. The EPC-5500/5510 comes with the Intel® 855GME/852GM chipset and offers a comprehensive array of I/O interfaces including four serial communication ports supporting RS232/422/485, four high-speed USB 2.0 ports, a 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet port and Gigabit LAN.
