Outer-clamping machining tool for GR76 tube panels, The PROTEM GR series are outside-clamping machines customized for membrane wall panels, by enabling concurrent weld end preparations and excavation of the wall membranes. The machines structure is manufactured from aluminium with enhanced mechanical characteristics which allow merging of light-weight and resistance, ideal for on-site machining environments. The device consists of a rigid jaw and a movable jaw, actuated by a ratchet, where one set of jaws is required for each width. Therefore, the customer should highlight the diameters of the pipes to be worked on. The feed operation is performed manually with the availability of the ratchet. The PROTEM GR machines are built with exclusive milling equipment, fixed with traditional carbide inserts. Each of the milling equipment is assigned to one distinctive machining operation. All milling tools are manufactured to satisfy customer needs and specifications.
