Rotary vane pump for viscous fluids
max. 10.34 bar, max. 1.364 lpm | RR series Pulsafeeder

The six-vane Series RR pump is highly efficient when pumping low to medium viscosity liquids. At speed, the hydraulic force behind each vane combines with centrifugal force to maintain a constant vane-to-liner seal which provides sustained volumetric efficiency through self-adjustment for wear.

Series RR non-metal fitted pumps are inherently self-lubricating, and the total area of contact between moving parts is significantly smaller which lowers mechanical friction losses. With a shorter, simpler flow path; simpler parts and larger chamber cause less shear or turbulence, this lowers hydraulic friction and shear loses. Liquid slip losses are lower due to dynamic vane actuation and self-adjustment for wear. Pump speeds are lower due to high volumetric displacement. Volumetric efficiency losses are lower due to self-adjustment of vanes.

The vanes in Series RR are self-adjusting for wear. This allows the pump to maintain volumetric efficiency while wear seriously reduces capacity of other rotary pumps. A foster pump does not require replacement, increased speed, and power, or more frequent repairs to maintain capacity.

Maintenance-In-Place makes reconditioning easy and economical. New vanes are often all that’s needed to be replaced. Even extensive wear is no problem. All wear parts can be replaced without dismounting the pump or disconnecting system piping. No specials tools or skills are needed.
