Pulsar Process Measurement
Pulsar's sand in oil monitor, is a specalist family of products designed specifically for the measurement of solids flowing in an oil or gas pipeline. The presence of sand or solids in flow is detected by a non-invasive acoustic monitor fitted to the outside of the pipe. This allows accurate monitoring of the levels of sand or other solid particles present in the oil/gas or multiphase flow in real time.
The fixed SandAlert is available as a wall or rack mount options or portable device providing alarms and reports.
SandAlert is easy to operate and requires no calibration to flow rate. as soon as the sensor is clamped to the outside of the pipe it provides a measurement of flow rate. Because the system is not affected by flowrate it is particularly suitable for multi-phase flows.
