The Q22-950F Polishing Center is a “multitasking” machine that takes the features of the Q22-750P2 to the next level. The flexibility of the Q22-950F Polishing Center generates a wide range of new capabilities:

* Polish spheres, aspheres and freeform optics up to a meter in diameter;
* Polish square and rectangular aperture surfaces such as prisms, cylinders, and photoblank substrates;
* Polish on-axis and off-axis elements with square, rectangular, hexangular or elliptical apertures;
* Correct transmitted wavefront (windows, phase plates, entire system correction on one surface);
* Obtain high precision surfaces fast and cost effectively;
* Enable novel polishing process: MRF Damage Removal + Conventional Subaperture Smoothing + MRF Figure Correction to efficiently and deterministically reach high precision from a ground state. (Learn more about this new approach to polishing.)

Other benefits include:

* High convergence process reduces number of metrology-polish iterations, reducing overall cycle time;
* Standard large wheel (370 mm) has high material removal rates to process large surfaces quickly;
