For samples taken at random in a production line, assessment by means of tactile or coordinate measuring methods is often deemed to be inconvenient for lack of time. The recently developed QuellTech SolarLine Station, featuring a laser triangulation sensor, is specialized in corresponding situations: It simply places a laser line on the surface of interest. Software and algorithms provided deliver ultraprecise results with respect to the surface or dimensional measurement in no time.

For this SolarLine Station, a comprehensive selection of sensors is available for different ranges and resolutions, so that nearly no restrictions have to be expected regarding the application.

Parameters to be supervised: Shape, flatness, waviness, length, distortion, co-planarity of connections, thickness and volume.

The software included in the delivery, is equipped with numerous features for automated applications and comprises two separate modules for measurement and evaluation. Enhanced flexibility is ensured for measuring tasks in production, research and development. After short instruction and training, also employees without particular knowledge are able to perform a powerful analysis in 2D/3D without any effort.
