In the modern production environment, production speeds are continually being pushed to become faster and faster. The demand for faster line speed can create a new challenge such as the need to extend the length of a line where factory space is limited. A Radyne Multi-Wire line is one solution to the above where increased production volumes can be obtained from the same physical area.

Induction Heating provides a clean, fast and efficient way of heating multiple wires to temperatures up to Curie (700~740°C) and as such is ideal solution for modern Multi-Wire or Strand Annealing heating requirements.

Installed on its own, or as a pre-heater to a conventional furnace, the Radyne Multi-Wire induction heater can offer a very cost-effective solution.

One major benefit is that by using a single coil around all the wires, Radyne is able to maintain the required wire pitches that are used in conventional Multi-Wire applications. Also, as the footprint is generally quite small, retro-fitting to existing wire lines is also possible.
A Radyne Multi-Wire line induction furnace can heat as many or as few wires as required. Systems have been designed and manufactured for production of 2 to 40 wires delivering throughputs of 2000kg/hour heated to 700°C.
