The CNC wheel borer WB 90 is designed for boring, turning and facing of rolling stock wheels. Thanks to application of a large number of additional equipment, the machine tool is very productive and versatile.

For boring of holes in hubs of railway wheels, it is provided with an electronically controlled boring bar. For turning and facing of wheel hubs, there is mounted a CNC tool slide, which can be equipped with fixed tooling or a tool turret. A second slide is used for facing of wheel rims.

Main features of the machine tool:
- automatic six-jaw chuck,
- table powered by 70 kW DC motor,
- body system made from high-quality grey cast
iron,
- all sliding surfaces lined with bronze liners,
- all gears are helical, hardened and ground,
- cross-rail with boring bar powered by AC motors,
- simple and clear user’s interface.
