FISHEYE is an optical sensor able to read lines and/or edges of opaque materials. Equipped with a CCD sensor, FISHEYE is a camera with a wide visual area up to 800 mm and a response time of 1ms. The sensor is usually used for materials with a considerable width error and when using or splicing reels of different widths, such as forexample in the corrugated board sector. Accordingly to the application it can operate at an operating distance from 20 to 80 cm and can be equipped with three different optics, 8, 16 and 25 mm, to increase the field of view.
