Ceramic tile radiant burner RedRayThe QC-12 burner has a quick-cooling ceramic refractory tile. The tile has thousands of tiny holes through which the premixed gas passes. The gas ignites as it exits these holes producing no visible flame, but heats the ceramic to produce infrared radiation.
