Description

Applications: Applications where higher fatigue and wear resistance are required. Construction: Plates with same profile as ANSI roller chains of same pitch. Instead, thickness of plates and pin diameters correspond to the ANSI roller chains of next higher pitch. Most common combinations: 2x3, 3x4, 4x6. General characteristics: Plate combinations allow to balance the fatigue resistance between plates connected rigidly by the pin and plates where the pin rotates freely, thus increasing the overall fatigue resistance compared to other series. Wear resistance is higher due to the larger working surface between pin and live plates (since both plate thickness and pin diameters are larger) which reduces specific pressures between these components.
