For workpieces where traditional deep drawing or ironing processes do not lead to satisfactory results due to workpiece properties or production costs, Repkon Flowforming Machines represent an ideal solution. While there are some common applications where both flowforming and deep drawing processes are suitable, flowforming process is a unique solution if:

* End product is rotationally symmetric along its longitudinal axis
* End product aspect ratio (Length/diameter) is so high that it cannot be achieved by deep drawing
* Different wall thickness along the length is required
* Reduction in wall thickness is as high as 60%
* Improved surface finish is required together with induced cold work strength
* High dimensional accuracy is required
