High Intensity / High Gradient Magnetic Roll Separator (HIMRS / HGMRS)
Rare-earth roll separators, produced by Research & Production Association "ERGA", are high intensity and high gradient separators, designed for dry magnetic separation of paramagnetic and diamagnetic materials.
Main features:
- Optimal number of separation stages (number of magnetic rolls) is determined individually for each specific separation application, taking into consideration various properties of separation materials and contaminants, as well as purity requirements set by industry standards;
- High intensity magnetic fields, generated on the poles of magnetic rolls, are of adequate strength for separation of paramagnetic materials (magnetic induction on the poles up to 1.7 T (17 000 G), which equals magnetic field intensity of 1350 kA/m (17 000 Oe);
- Material is fed from a feed hopper onto a vibratory discharge tray, which insures uniform material distribution and even feeding into the separation zone;
- Advanced control and adjustment systems make possible fine-tuning of the separation process and maximize separation efficiency;
- Unique patented magnetic systems are composed of powerful Nd-Fe-B magnets (in-house industrial production). Magnets are thoroughly tested to ensure that the required properties are present, and to guarantee long equipment life and high performance;
