Model SMBM & SMBM-2 magnetic drums are powerful, reliable and efficient separators, designed for extraction of both large and fine tramp iron from various products.
Main features:
- Magnetic drum separators meet all the requirements for efficient separation: powerful magnetic field, large effective surface area, even material feed and automatic self-cleaning design;
- Model SMBM & SMBM-2 drum separators come equipped with a number of optional adjustment mechanisms;
- Separation efficiency can be improved substantially if material is fed to the drum surface via a vibratory feeder (SMBM-VP modification);
- Drum separator's throughout capacity depends upon the drum's effective surface area and properties of the separation material. Research & Production Association "ERGA" manufactures drum separators, designed for throughput capacities from 1 to 200 t/h;
- Unique patented magnetic systems are composed of powerful Nd-Fe-B magnets (in-house industrial production). Magnets are thoroughly tested to ensure that the required properties are present, and to guarantee long equipment life and high performance;
- Depending on magnetic susceptibility of material and contaminants, maximum magnetic induction on the drum's surface is selected within the range of 100 to 900 mT (1000-9000 G), which equals magnetic field intensity of 80-720 kA/m (1000 -- 9000 Oe);
- Rubber or polyurethane coatings may be applied to magnetic drums to protect them against abrasive wear and tear;
