Magnetic grate separator for free fall applications

SM grates in housing are basically flanged sections of circular or rectangular enclosed chutes with one or more rows of magnetic tubes attached to a hinged access door or a drawer-type sliding frame.

Main features:

- Unique patented magnetic systems are composed of powerful Nd-Fe-B magnets (in-house industrial production). Magnets are thoroughly tested to ensure that the required properties are present, and to guarantee long equipment life and high performance;

- Single-row magnetic grates are used for majority of "average" tramp iron removal problems, several rows of magnetic tubes are capable of provding better protection against ferrous contaminants;

- Depending on magnetic susceptibility of material and contaminants, maximum magnetic induction on the surface of magnetic tubes is selected within the range of 100 to 700 mT (1000-7000 G), which equals magnetic field intensity of 80-550 kA/m (1000 -- 7000 Oe);

- Manual cleaning and easy to use mechanical cleaning systems available (SM-2 model);

- SM separators can be supplied with counterflanges for easy installation;
