Model MDP plate detectors are designed for detection of relatively large ferrous and non-ferrous contaminants in non-metallic products (bulk or packaged), carried on conveyor belts.

- Plate metal detectors are less sensitive than tunnel type detectors, they are used mostly for keeping downstream processing equipment from being damaged by relatively large metal contaminants;

- Plate metal detectors are easily installed into existing production lines;

- MDP metal detectors may be supplied together with mini-conveyors, various alarm devices (flashing beacons and/or sirens), reject devices, magnetic separators, special power supplies, etc;

- MDP detectors are equipped with either remote control cabinets or built-in control panels; if deemed necessary, a possibility may be provided for connecting MDP's to central control/monitoring systems;

- MDP metal detectors are well-protected from ingress of dust and water penetration — protection degree IP 65 is provided for standard models, special options are available on request;
