Application: Automatic extraction of tramp iron from various products (ore, coal, waste, cullet, etc.), protection of processing machinery.
Main features:
- Continuous automatic cleaning - tramp iron is lifted out of the material flow and up to the endless discharge belt, which conveys it to the discharge point;
- Unique patented magnetic systems are composed of powerful Nd-Fe-B magnets (in-house industrial production). Magnets are thoroughly tested to ensure that the required properties are present, and to guarantee long equipment life and high performance;
- Extended magnetic systems are used to increase the product residense time in the separation zone, thus increasing separation efficiency;
- For higher performance, overhead separators may be installed in an inclined position above the conveyor's discharge head pulley. Separator's efficiency is significantly increased due to minimized distance between the conveyour belt and the separator and due to easier extraction of tramp iron from free-falling material;
In addition to model SMPA self-cleaning suspended separators and model SMPR mechanical-cleaning suspended separators, "ERGA" manufactures their modifications for special applications: suspended separators for enclosed belt conveyors (self-cleaning SMPA-2 model and manual cleaning PSM-P model) and low cost modifications of suspended separators (PSM-4 model) for simple separation tasks.
