For the future of I/O and communications in control and drive technology, open-architecture bus systems that are not specific to a particular manufacturer are becoming extremely popular.

The Rexroth PS 6000 modules have flexibly designed input and output boards. They can be equipped with a parallel I/O field and also with standardized interfaces like PROFIBUS, INTERBUS, and DeviceNet.

By simply plugging in the appropriate I/O board, the PS 6000 control and power section modules can be configured. The advantage: versatility, and at the same time, cost-effective, economical perspectives for future equipment expansion or modernization.
