The Laser Line Non-Polarizing Plate Beamsplitter are for situations where the polarization characteristics of the incident laser radiation must be maintained in reflection and transmission. They can be used to obtain a 50/50 split for laser energy regardless of the polarization state of the incident beam. The plate beamsplitters have a number of advantages over cube beamsplitters. They are devoid of optical cements which can absorb energy. They can withstand higher levels of laser power without damage, they can operate at higher temperatures and they are less expensive than cube non-polarizing beamsplitters.
