Optical linear beam-splitter
Reynard Corporation
Aluminum (metallic) Linear Variable Beamsplitters are designed to split an incident beam into a transmitted and a reflected beam. Protected aluminum is used as the beamsplitting material. Aluminum is substantially less absorbing than the conventional inconel type coating material. Both surfaces are coated with a broadband anti-reflection coating to reduce secondary images. These filters are designed to be used at zero degrees.
