With the new FE series, Rheintacho Messtechnik presents an whole family of speed sensors that fulfill nearly any user's wish.
What is immediately noticeable about these sensors? The extremely small construction in relation to the diameter of the housing, the housing length and the amount of space it takes up above the cable exit, as well as the solid, heavy duty design with brass housings.
The main target groups for these sensors are found in the wide ranging field of application of hydraulic drives in general and, specifically, construction and agricultural machinery technology.
With its modular concept, the FE family of sensors presents the opportunity for use-oriented adaptations based on various, individually combinable properties:
-differing output signals: PWM, 1-channel frequency, 2-channel frequency
- insertion depth of sensor in two versions, 18.4 mm and 32 mm
- various cable lengths
- various connector interfaces on cable
- input voltage can be selected from two ranges from min. 4.5V to max. 32V.
As befits Rheintacho's solid tradition, a design, suited for extremely demanding conditions was taken into consideration in the initial planning phase. As a result the sensors fulfill the IP 67 and IP 69K protection class requirements. Dirt, moisture and intensive on-site cleaning present no problem whatsoever.
The housing features a special brass alloy. Thanks to this choice of material and the intelligent design, the measuring surface can withstand heavy pressure.
