RIBE offers complete mechanical sheet metal jointing systems, in which cold formed jointing elements (e.g. special rivets) are fed and installed automatically to strongly increase the strength of the joint.

The RIFIT® punch riveting system allows the use of new materials that otherwise cannot be jointed at all or only with difficulty. The customer-specific jointing tasks are analyzed in RIBE's own riveting laboratory and optimized in application tests. RIBE offers a wide range of self-piercing rivets: for standard applications ("C geometry") and - as the only system supplier in the world - for special aluminum applications (ALUFORM RIFIT®) and for high-strength and brittle applications (RIFIT®
HF).

The RIBULB® blind rivet system solves jointing problems in applications such as components with high loads, e.g. crashbox, front or submodules, seat mountings and steering systems.
The main features of the RIBULB® blind rivet are a very wide grip range of at least 3 mm and a very large set head contact area. The user can therefore obtain a reliable joint with a smaller number of parts. The RIBULB® system also includes specially designed installation tools with optional process monitoring. Automatic feeders can also be developed and manufactured for large–series applications to suit the customer's specific needs.
