Fast firing tunnel kiln with car conveyance for glost and once firing of porcelain in reduction atmosphere.
The product is transported through the kiln on light-weight cars.The loading of the cars is realized with SiC kiln furniture for high loading density. The process control together with the firing system ensures extremely stable atmosphere conditions also with changing loading conditions. A heat exchanger made of SiC-tubes, installed directly in the kiln room at the beginning of the cooling zone ensures a smooth but soft indirect cooling. In the same moment clean and hot air is generated, which is used as preheated combustion air. This reduces the fuel consumption significantly. Additionally, it is possible to recuperate the energy from the hot waste gases by means of a heat exchanger in the chimney.
