The RIL220 immersion Float Level switch has 2 rods parallel to control 2 level points and can be used for dirty liquids, water, oils, coolant oils. It tolerates the presence of metal particles, including ferrous ones, since the float does not carry a magnet and is integral with the rod. It offers total safety since the electrical part is totally separated on the side of the tank and is perfectly sealed with respect to the external side by means of ultrasonic welding and resin coating of the pins. The body is made of nylon-glass, robust under the mechanical aspect, resistant from a chemical point of view and ideal as an insulating container for Reed contacts. The RIL220 Level Switches are standard with length of the rod up to 2000 mm. You can get the desired length simply by cutting the steel rod with a simple pipe cutter or you can vary the point of intervention by applying a float with a through hole. The float with through hole can be positioned on the rod in the desired point without cutting the rod itself, which can therefore be as long as the height of the tank. Subsequently, the liquid control point can, if necessary, be changed again by simply moving the float. On request they can be supplied already prepared for the control of predetermined quotas.
