Description

Compact two-dimensional CCD detector X-ray and EUV detector An ideal compact two dimensional (2D) CCD detector, the new Rigaku Xsight Micron is optimized for use in applications as diverse as X-ray microscopy, X-ray microtomography, X-ray optics adjustment and metrology, various synchrotron applications and phase contrast X-ray imaging. Due to its broad spectral range, it can be used as an EUV detector. The Xsight Micron X-ray CCD camera is composed of a thin single crystal scintillator screen, optics and a CCD camera. The nominal input image area size is 0.90 mm x 0.67 mm. The nominal effective pixel size is 0.65 μm x 0.65 μm. The CCD camera itself contains an inter-line CCD image sensor with 1392 (H) x 1040 (V) effective pixels. Data from the camera are transferred via high speed IEEE-1394a (FireWire 400) interface. Features Spectral range (keV): 0.05 to 35 Field of view (mm x mm): 0.90 (V) x 0.67 (H) Spatial resolution (μm): 1.6 (@ 8keV) Single frame dynamic range (typ., dB): ~70 Acquisition gain (e-/ADU): 1.5 ± 0.3 (@ gain 0dB) Readout noise (typ., e- rms): 7.5 Frame rate (fps): 2.5 (@ binning 1 x 1, background corrected) Exposure time range (s): 0.00002 to 500 Binning: 1 x 1, 2 x 2, 4 x 4 Averaging: yes Gain: 1 – 75 Data interface: FireWire (IEEE 1394a) Dimensions (mm): 60(d) x 70(h) x 249(l) Weight (kg): 2.5 Warranty: parts & labor for 1 year
