Description

The specially designed DELTA 800 provides the possibility to anchor the 3rd clamp to the 1st and 2nd (movable) and slide along with the pipe. This function enables to weld fittings such as elbows, tees, wyes and stub ends. The fitting needs to be locked in the 4th clamp. A special tool is available on request to weld short neck stub ends. The device features a machine body with steel bearing frame, steel clamps and inserts. The self detaching device enables removing of the heating plate during welding procedure. Extractable heating plate with separate thermometer is used for reading the working temperature. The device includes an electro-hydraulic gear case, an electrical panel with power outlet for the heating plate and crane and a milling cutter/heating plate support. On request the tool is available with various accessories such as tool for flange necks, electrical crane, clamps’ inserts from Ø 500 to 710 mm, machine body trolley, rollers and THE INSPECTOR data-logging.
