The MR-3 is a motorized microtome, manufactured by RMC Products. This product features a heavy base casting which lessens vibration. It cuts strokes vertically using a solid cross roller bearing specimen carriage. It is equipped with a digital section counter display as well as a touch screen control panel with easily cleaned membrane switches. It also has an electronic feed with fast return as well as a separate trim control function with foot switch. This has cutting speed of 0-400 mm/sec. It also has the ability of manual or motorized cutting stroke with balanced hand wheel.
