The MR2 Manual Microtome, manufactured by RMC Products, features a heavy base casting which lessens vibration. It cuts strokes vertically using a solid cross roller bearing specimen carriage. It is equipped with a digital section counter display as well as a touch screen control panel with easily cleaned membrane switches. It also has an electronic feed with fast return as well as an independent trim control function with foot switch. This device can handle maximum specimen size 55x50mm. Its cutting stroke measures 64mm and its retraction is 70microns.
