Diaphragm clamping chucks in flat design - MSF
Type 587 Diaphragm jaw chuck MSF, centric clamping, with quick-acting jaw change system HSK, chucking precision 0,005 mm
cylindrical centre mount/ short taper mount
APPLICATION RANGE
ideally suited for grinding and hard turning with high precision, with HSK mounting for swift and simple chuck change
Unaffected by dirt, with the HSK quick-action change mounts integrated in the diaphragm.
For the jaw chucks, two systems are combined here with special features and outstandingly good levels of precision.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
diaphragms operate for long periods of time almost free of wear and in constantly uniform quality
HSK mounts have become the ideal interfaces for "modules" being changed into and out of the system
Jaw chucks reground in the system combinated of diaphragm and HSK mount achieve change precision values of ? 0,005 mm when refitted after a change
The HSK interface design guarantees radial freedom from play and axial "shoulder contact", which means maximum possible module rigidity while still providing fast and simple changeover
A media feed system, provided as standard, provides the opportunity for coolants or blown air to be conducted through the diaphragm jaw chuck directly to the workpiece, or to accommondate the workpiece air-contact monitoring device in the workpiece air-contact monitoring device in the workpiece mounts
