In particular the precise machining of rings in a single, quickly realisable clamping operation is possible with the new combined centring and magnetic chuck. The usual time-consuming centring by hand or with specially made devices that used to be associated with magnetic chucks is now a thing of the past. Workpieces of different sizes and contours can thus be securely extended and clamped in seconds. The 3-jaw centring chuck is operated with a single drive and is thus suitable for external and internal clamping.
