Amici Prisms are also known as Roof Prisms. When passing an image through, they erect the image and deviate the beam 90°. Exceptionally good as prism diagonals in telescopes as they erect the image and make it acceptable for a terrestrial type viewing scope. Useful in enlarging to deviate the beam 90°.
