The miniaturisation in the assembling technology is going ahead. This makes sense to develop new miniature linear guide systems for such tiny applications.
There are now reliable linear guide systems with ball circulation available. Even for the smallest mounting activities. The new assortment of miniature guide systems start with a rail width of 3 mm. The complete range of miniature guides consists of rails in size 3, 5, 7, 9, 12 and 15 mm width.
To this product range fits also a complete range of wide rails available. The width of the rails is about 3 times the dimension of the standard rails. This design has big advantages in applications where you are not able to use 2 rails in parallel. This rails and carriages can accept very high moment loads on a very small space and make a very compact design of linear drive units possible.
A patented ball return system is responsible for a very smooth and quiet movement also at high speed. The carriages have a special ball retainer to keep the balls inside the carriage. The balls don%u2019t get lost when you remove the carriages from the rails.
