Description

> Glass fibre reinforced enclosure systems of polyester-resin for use in all Ex-areas > Empty enclosures for individual fittings and Ex e / Ex ia terminal enclosures > enclosures with external brackets The Okta-Box Ex enclosure augments the polyester Ex series of enclosures. The Okta-Box is also available as a empty enclosure or in pre-assembled Ex e or Ex ia variants. The special feature of our Okta-Box enclosures can be found in their octagonal design, which permits installation of these enclosures even when closed. The three sizes of this product series are suitable, in particular, for use on offshore platforms and in the petrochemicals industry The enclosure body consists of glass-fibre-reinforced polyester resin with a graphite additive. The lid and base feature tethered stainless-steel lid screws. An offshore variant for equipping with cable glands for armoured cables is also available on request
