Applications
For precise two axis or compound angle settings on precision machines for measuring or fine machining of precision components requiring platen sizes between 200mm and 1200mm diameter.
Construction
All principal castings are manufactured from high grade stabilised cast iron. The tilting movement is a motor powered system employing a ball screw and nut mechanism.
Bearing
Preloaded axial-radial roller bearings are incorporated on each axis, to provide high rigidity, sensitivity and fine positioning in both planes.
Clamping
Distortion-free clamping systems on both axes.
Measuring Systems
High precision Heidenhain angular encoders with DRO or NC systems.
