Both axes are driven via stepper motors or servomotors and can be fitted with linear encoders. Mechanical limit switches are fitted at the extents of the travel with all cables terminated with suitable connectors for connection to your control system.
High precision wedge shaped granite elements have been selected for the construction of The Elevating Stage for its inherent damping qualities that minimise the transmission of any vibration to the equipment.
This design has been developed as it is significantly more stable than similar systems incorporating jack screws.
The Elevating Stage is supported on five wedge type-levelling jacks for initial levelling of the unit during installation.
